While it is beneficial to practice yoga (or other sports) during pregnancy, your changing body will inevitably make special demands on your clothing. As such, sooner of later, you will no longer be able to wear your normal leggings for yoga, potentially even in the early stages of pregnancy, as the waistband can sometimes feel uncomfortable on your growing stomach.
Therefore, our Mama Leggings have a particularly flexible and high waistband, which can be worn in a number of different ways during each phase of your pregnancy – from a mini- tummy to a giant ball. From the beginning, you can fold the waistband down, not only to eliminate uncomfortable pressure on your stomach, but to adjust a waistband that might possibly be too high or wide.
As the belly grows, you can decide whether you would like to fold the waistband up completely, so that the belly is nicely wrapped and gets extra support, or continue to wear it down, providing more space for you stomach and the growing baby.
The choice is yours! – Both Mama Leggings options feel and look fantastic, ensuring that you are perfectly equipped to practice yoga during your pregnancy.
While manufacturing our Mama Leggings, we opted for a cotton blend that, thanks to it’s unique solid quality, retains it’s shape, even after a dynamic yoga session. Although our organic fabric consists of 95% cotton, it is opaque and does not wear out easily, comparable to the strength and dimensional stability of synthetic materials.
We manufacture each piece by hand in our Cologne studio.
Attention: Our products are unique. As such, the pattern on your item may slightly differ from what is pictured in the illustration, due to variations of the fabric during the cutting process.
Wild Thing, you make my heart sing! Here is a style for those who love it wild. The plumage of the golden pheasant gives these leggings their bright and powerful fire. In Asia, the golden pheasant represents a symbol of luck, splendor, and prosperity. In yoga, the golden pheasant represent joy, energy, and endurance; ensuring that you stay centered on your practice and always have a smile on your face.
